IMAC-D in the Service ERP.
Manage equipment installations, moves, additions, changes and removals from one connected system. Keep equipment locations, serial numbers, service contracts and billing information up to date, helping your teams manage changes across your customers’ equipment without losing track of important details.
Why this domain exists
Your customers’ equipment requirements are constantly changing. New devices are installed, existing machines are moved between locations, older equipment is replaced and devices are removed when they’re no longer needed.
Every change affects more than just the equipment itself. Your service team needs to know where each machine is located, your accounts team needs accurate billing information, and your contracts team needs to ensure the correct service coverage applies.
When these changes are managed through separate systems or manual processes, records can quickly become outdated. This can lead to incorrect invoices, technicians being sent to the wrong location or service agreements that no longer reflect the equipment a customer is using.
Nucleus connects equipment changes to customer records, service contracts, logistics and billing. This helps your teams manage installations, relocations, replacements and removals while keeping the relevant information consistent across the business.
Important functionality
MS13 brings together the information needed to manage equipment changes throughout its lifecycle, helping your teams keep track of where devices are located and how those changes affect service and billing.

- Move / add / changeRecord equipment relocations, additions and changes, keeping customer locations and installed equipment information up to date.
- Swap / upgradeManage equipment replacements and upgrades, recording the removal of the original device and the installation of its replacement while keeping the relevant service information connected.
- De-install / recoveryTrack equipment removals and recoveries, helping ensure asset records, contract coverage and billing information reflect the change.
A week in the life of an estate change
A customer requests that a machine be moved to another location. Your team records the existing and new locations against the customer’s account.
Once the equipment has been relocated, its location and relevant service information are updated so your teams know where the device is installed.
Your accounts team can use the updated equipment and contract information to ensure billing reflects the machine’s current location and service arrangements.
When a device is swapped or upgraded, the original and replacement serial numbers are recorded, helping keep warranty information, meter readings and service coverage linked to the correct equipment.
What has to be true on the same record
Your equipment serial numbers, customer locations, service contracts, logistics information and billing records all need to be connected.
With Nucleus, equipment changes stay linked to the relevant customer and asset records, helping your teams manage installations, relocations and removals without losing track of service obligations or billing requirements.
