Pricing in the Service ERP.
Manage your pricing in one place, from rate cards and cost-per-page charges to minimums, additional fees and profit margins. Keep your pricing connected to customer contracts, meter readings and billing, so your teams know exactly what to charge and why.
Why this domain exists
Getting your pricing right is important, but keeping it accurate across your business can be a challenge.
When rates, minimum charges and additional fees are managed in spreadsheets or separate systems, it’s easy for information to become outdated or inconsistent. Your sales team might quote one price, while your accounts team works from another.
Nucleus keeps pricing information connected to your contracts, equipment and billing processes, helping ensure customers are charged according to their agreements.
It also allows you to compare costs against selling prices, giving you a clearer understanding of whether your contracts remain profitable as service costs change.
Important functionality
MC3 brings together the pricing information your business relies on, helping you manage rates, charges and profitability consistently.
- Rate cardsManage pricing for different customers, equipment models and regions, giving your sales and accounts teams access to consistent rates.
- CPP / CPC and click bandsSet up cost-per-page or cost-per-click pricing, including different rates based on usage volumes and meter readings.
- MinimumsManage minimum billing amounts to ensure the agreed charges are applied, even when equipment usage is lower than expected.
- ExtrasKeep track of additional charges that fall outside standard contract coverage, such as travel, after-hours service or consumables.
- Cost versus sellCompare the cost of providing equipment and services against the prices charged to customers, helping you understand margins and contract profitability.
A week in the life of a rate card
Your sales team prepares a quote using the relevant rate cards, equipment pricing and service charges already recorded in Nucleus.
Once the agreement is confirmed, the applicable rates, usage bands and minimum charges are linked to the customer’s contract.
When a meter reading reaches a different pricing band, the agreed rates are available for billing without manually calculating the charges.
Your team can review costs against selling prices and see how contracts are performing, rather than waiting until month-end to identify potential issues.
What has to be true on the same record
Your equipment catalogue, customer contracts, meter readings and invoices all need to use the same pricing information.
With Nucleus, pricing stays connected across these processes, helping your teams apply the correct charges and understand the financial performance of each agreement.

"I am the Finance Manager at a Solar Company called Alumo Energy. We struggled to find a software solution capable to assist us with our business needs. After a long search we managed to find CO3 (Nucleus). We are very happy with the solution implemented, it caters to all our business needs. The Nucleus team was very professional and willing to help. A special thanks to Adrian, Jennifer and Pam. We will highly recommend CO3 to other businesses."
